Orange residents and visitors had a chance to "let go" at the May 5 opening performance of ODA/LOVe's "Music on Main" concert series. Featuring the jazz quartet, Laissez Foure (laissez is French for "let go"), concertgoers grooved to classic jazz tunes from the 1930's, -40's and -50's in the captivating surroundings of Taylor Park.
Funded through a Virginia Commission for the Arts grant to the Town of Orange, "Music on Main" features four musical events, each showcasing a different musical genre.
The next concert, funded by the Town and featuring bluegrass musicians Val Smith and Joe Zauner, will take place on July 7. All concerts are being held in Taylor Park and are free to the public.
